A little preview of the White Christmas Sale on Saturday, 12/7/13

We have been hard at work around the farm house getting things ready for our Christmas sale...scrubbing, painting, white-washing fences and landscaping.  By "we" I mean Erin's husband, Chris.  But then you probably already knew that!
But there has also been a lot of busy work goin' on in the kitchen and herb garden. Here is a sneak peak:

October Sale belated post

We made some wonderful new friends at our fall sale and caught up with some of our old dear friends.. And it is really quite fun to meet and talk with so many people who, like us, appreciate these items from another time; these lovely, gently-worn, faded or scuffed treasures from a by-gone era.
Anywho, a fine time was had by all!  And we decided right there on the spot to have another sale on Saturday, December 7.  It will be holiday themed and the color scheme will be all shades of WHITE!  So SAVE THE DATE!

An old beach bike and garden items under the tent.....

New member of the family

Fabulous Farm Sales  is proud to announce the arrival of a new "baby"

                                                         "Tildie Mae"

Erin's customized, 'cream-puff-' antique white 1966 Chevy truck!

She has pretty, pale pink 'Fabulous Farmhouse Sales' signs on her doors, so
if you see us driving down the road, honk & WAVE!!     But remember:
don't follow too closely because THIS truck DEFINITELY brakes VERY suddenly
at the sight of any 'YARD SALE' sign!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Polish the silver and get out all your beauties to set that table!  Here's hoping that you all have a wonderful blessed grateful holiday and ENJOY this long weekend!

Road trip

Yesterday Erin and I decided to take off on a little trip. So we got up with the chickens and took off down the road...

We didn't have a big plan. Just decided to stop anywhere that struck our fancy...a couple of ramblin' girls..We even saw an interesting bathroom..

...and found an awesome chandelier...

We stopped anywhere and looked at anything. We even bought a watermelon. This is Erin. She was wishing she had a giant cup of chipped ice.  Did I tell you it was hot?  Well, it was..

We met a lot of really nice people along the way. You can't see them but we took this picture of 3 people on the front porch that run this store.  We told them to smile and wave because they were going to be on our blog.  So they did!

Then we drove some more and had a picnic by a lake.

After all that, we were pretty tired, so we loaded up our loot and headed home.

Even with all that fun, we were home before dark...

We had so much fun, we're might do it again next weekend!
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Welcome to the new website for "Fabulous Farmhouse Sales"!

We have begun a new chapter in our journey to showcase our collections of vintage furniture, tableware, textiles, paintings and garden décor items.  Our first blog tells a little more about us and you can view that here:
www.pineapplehillfarmhouse.blogspot.com
(Erin's farmhouse property was once a pineapple plantation in the early pioneer days of Florida.)
But we have decided to create a new website that will demonstrate what we are really all about.  We are passionate about getting out and about and "pickin'" up some great bargains to showcase at our quarterly pop-up sales.
Right now we are planning, picking, and re-stocking... and also trying to figure out how to navigate the setting up of our website...!...so bear with us!
